We have an exciting lineup of translation events for the fall, as follows, with all events at the Cleveland Park Library at 2:00 – 4:00 with the exception of 9/27/19:
September 27, 2019—Translatable! – the annual Open Mic celebration of International Translation Day at Montgomery College, hosted again this year by DC-Area Literary Translators Network (DC-ALT)
Date: Friday, Sept. 27, 2019
Time: 7 p.m. (Doors open at 6 p.m. for mingling, refreshments, & Open Mic sign-up)
Location: 
Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus, The Morris and Gwendolyn Cafritz Foundation Arts Center (CF) Room 101, 930 King Street, Silver Spring, MD 20910
All are welcome! Students, faculty, staff, and the public - everyone. Come early & sign up to participate in the Open Mic!

October 12, 2019—Nancy Naomi Carlson will be part of a "Conversation About Translation" panel that will include Jennifer Grotz, Roser Caminals, Carlos Rubio, and Hope Maxwell Snyder at 1:30, in Erma Ora Byrd Hall, Room 103 (301 N. King Street, Shepherdstown, WV).
